In response to our changing world, we developed SafeConnect to help you feel confident when planning in-person and hybrid events. Get the support you need to orchestrate a safe event environment — then your attendees, exhibitors, and team members will feel more comfortable.

This program includes standards, protocols, and service offerings that reflect our values and commitment to event safety and well-being — for our people, our customers, and our attendees.

Upon entering any event when Freeman is the General Services Contractor, you can count on us to:

• Require that all on-site employees wear a mask and follow CDC guidance for physical distancing regardless of vaccination status
• Adhere to state/local public health guidance, and any venue or client-required health and safety policies or procedures
• Enforce that any Freeman employee or contractor who refuses to follow CDC/state/local public health, or venue/client-required health and safety policies, while on-site will be asked to leave immediately
• Provide employees with a COVID-19 personal protective equipment (PPE) package
• Encourage physical distancing, in accordance with CDC guidance, with employees and contractors
• Require all employees and contractors to wash hands throughout the day with soap and hot water for 20 seconds or frequently use hand sanitizer
• Mandate any custodial or sanitization services hired by Freeman to be GBAC-certified

We commit to these health and safety practices and will continue to incorporate the latest scientific developments as issued by local and state health authorities, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO). Freeman supports and is aligned with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) standards, and we will adhere to venue and show organizer-specific health and safety requirements.
